Windows 11 users report a strange system error, the laptop battery can be charged to 104%

Everyone likes to squeeze as much life as possible from their laptops, and every new Windows iteration makes a huge promise to extend battery life. But a strange bug in Windows 11 means that you may get more than you hoped. On Reddit, a user shared a screenshot of their laptop battery charging above 100%.

It is reported that a Reddit user named Zondax was surprised to find that their Windows 11 laptop has been changed to 103%. After posting a screenshot to prove to overcharge, they later updated the post, saying that the battery has reached 104%. Obviously, Microsoft has not been able to break the laws of physics with Windows 11, and the company has not yet allowed the battery to exceed its capacity.

It is undeniable that this is a strange error, and Microsoft has not talked much about this issue. However, in response to this story, a member of the company’s engineering team told the media: We have demonstrated an investigation into this vulnerability and will fix it as soon as possible.

It is reported that Zondax is (or at least once) is running Windows 11 build 22483.1000, so it may be some weird phenomenon related to the preview version. But so far, this seems to be the only report on Windows 11, so this may be an isolated incident.
