Apple continues to expand the scale of its subscription service Apple Arcade, adding two exclusive games, the classic arcade shooter Galaga Wars+ and the popular tower defense game Kingdom Rush Frontiers.
Galaga Wars+
Galaga Wars+ was developed by Bandai Namco and is a mobile version of the classic arcade game. The game control is simple, only a finger is required, it is very suitable for iPhone and iPad. Players can choose different ships, and each ship has four different abilities, which can be upgraded by collecting coins in battle. In this fixed shooting game, the spacecraft has to face waves of Galaga enemies before reaching an epic BOSS battle. Users can log in every day to get free items and complete tasks to earn coins.
Kingdom Rush Frontiers
In addition to Galaga Wars+, the award-winning tower defense game Kingdom Rush Frontiers TD+ also landed on Apple Arcade on Friday. This iPhone, iPad and Mac game developed by Ironhide is based on the traditional tower defense mechanism, with dedicated upgrades, heroes and a series of unique BOSS battles. Players can choose from three game modes, strive to obtain more than 80 achievements, learn about the enemy’s situation through the encyclopedia in the game, and so on.

Earlier this week, Apple announced the upcoming games Splitter Critters+ and Dandara: Trials of Fear+, both of which are listed as upcoming games. Splitter Critters+ is the winner of the Apple Design Award and was also named the 2017 iPhone Game of the Year. Its mission is to divide the world, rearrange the fragments, and guide the critters over obstacles and return to their spacecraft. Dandara: Trials of Fear+ is a 2D embroidery platform game for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. Players play the role of Dandara, a hero who repels enemies in order to liberate a world called salt.
