Take-Two removes the GTA 4 module! GTA 4 remake is coming?

Recently, R Star released the remake of the three classic works of the GTA series GTA Trilogy Ultimate Edition, although fans were excited to be able to re-experience these classic games at the beginning of the release. However, from various errors and malfunction reports in the game to a series of problems with character models and visual effects, players are getting more and more disappointed in this cold meal that just came out of the pot.

In addition to this criticized remake, Take-Two’s behavior of forcibly removing the modules made by players has also been criticized by many players. On November 11, a Grand Theft Auto module site called Libertycity.net stated that Take-Two contacted them and forced the removal of three GTA-related modules.

The first mod to be removed was GTA Advance PC Port Beta 2, which is a remake of the classic 2D game GTA Advance on GBA with the engine of GTA 3. The other two removed modules belong to GTA 4. One of them is to replace the protagonist Johnny of GTA 4: Lost and Cursed with the original protagonist Nick of GTA 4, and the other is a complete 65 % archive file of the plot.

These are just some of the modules that Take-Two has forced to remove in recent years. When a large number of modules were deleted last time, they mainly targeted GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas. Soon afterward, R star announced that it would release the GTA Trilogy Ultimate Edition. So the deletion of the GTA 4 module this time means that the remake version of GTA 4 is not far away from us. But according to the performance of GTA Trilogy Ultimate Edition, it is difficult for us to have many expectations for the remake of GTA 4.
