Samsung announced that Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 3 are all receiving software updates, which will expand the number of features users can enjoy. In order to prevent aesthetic fatigue, Samsung has also provided some new watch interfaces, which appeared on the Galaxy Watch 4 for the first time.
A major change in this software update is the ability to change the sensitivity of fall detection. Once the fall detection threshold is exceeded, an SOS notification will be sent to the pre-selected contact. If you have fragile family and friends, they are prone to fall and may need some help after a fall, which may be very convenient. Unfortunately, possibly due to hardware limitations, this change only applies to Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Galaxy Watch 3.
Another item in this software update is an update to the group challenge. Now you can join your friends and family in the challenge to see who can go the furthest or fastest. You can compete with each other individually or as a team to see what pioneering work you can accomplish together.

If you like to track the health data collected by the Galaxy Watch series, and have a Galaxy Watch Active 2 or Galaxy Watch 3, then you will be able to see your data in the Samsung Health Monitoring App, which has already arrived on these two devices. On the Galaxy Watch 4, health monitoring applications have recently expanded to Australia, Azerbaijan, Paraguay and Georgia.
Finally, this update brings 10 new dial designs, originally introduced with the Galaxy Watch 4. If you are tired of your current watch face, maybe you can try a new one. These watch faces are also easier to customize, allowing you to choose a variety of animals, background colors, and text colors.
