Introduced this summer, the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition has always been described as a software update designed to improve rather than add. The Chinese giant, in fact, has introduced numerous technologies regarding consumption management, optimization of memory management, read and write operations and much more.

Well, it seems that these Redmi smartphones should not receive the software update to MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition:
- Redmi Note 7 Pro
- Redmi Note 7S
- Redmi Note 7
- Redmi Y3
- Redmi 7
- Redmi 7A
The aforementioned devices were all presented during 2019 and users with Redmi Note 7 may not be happy to learn that their smartphone may have run out of software support; difficult at this point to evaluate if they will ever be affected by a possible update to MIUI 13.
Within the post published by the Telegram channel Mi Fans Home mention is also made of the Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone, but also with regard to Redmi devices the last word is not yet said until there is an official communication from the agency.
