The Apple Music app for LG smart TVs was launched to users today, and LG has now begun to promote the app on social media. It allows users to stream more than 90 million songs, as well as playlists, radio stations and music videos, without the need for any external hardware, such as an Apple TV set-top box. The app also supports the real-time lyrics of Apple Music.
The user interface of the TV version of Apple Music seems to be very similar to Apple TV’s Apple Music application visually. The application is now being gradually promoted to LG smart TV users, and a large number of reports showing the operation of the new application have appeared on Twitter.

It is unclear which exact LG TV models support the application, but it is more likely that models from the last few years will be supported. Users only need to search for “Apple Music” in the LG content store to know if they have a supported TV.
