On Wednesday, Microsoft released the November 2021 update for Xbox, which brings a lot of new features. As usual, this month’s update focuses on the Xbox Series S|X consoles, but Xbox One players have also received some updates.
The following is a summary of new features this month
New color filter
- Xbox Series S|X users now have additional color filters to apply, improving accessibility options for anyone who needs it.
New audio options
- Players can now change their audio settings so that when they put on headphones, the volume of the TV will be turned down, which means you don’t have to change the volume individually.
Accessibility label
- The previously discussed accessibility tags are now available, allowing players to search through the store and sort by various verified tags.

Xbox controller update
- The new controller firmware update provides the Xbox Series X|S controller with the dynamic delay input already in the Xbox Series X|S controller for the Xbox One controller (supporting Bluetooth), Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 controller and Xbox Adaptive Controller.
Updates to the Xbox mobile app
- Players using the Xbox mobile app can now share screenshots or links to game screenshots.
