With MIUI 13 you will have to say goodbye to a nice old friend

Xiaomi’s adventure in the world of technology began with MIUI, an interface that has made the fortune of this increasingly popular brand but which, in recent months, has also caused it many headaches for a series of bugs encountered by users and for to solve which the developers had to work hard.

Now Xiaomi is focused on the next version of its customized interface, that is MIUI 13, which will land on most of the current smartphones of its group (which also includes Redmi and POCO), as it has emerged in recent days.

With MIUI 13 you could lose Mi Bunny

Among the novelties of the next version of the Chinese manufacturer’s interface, there could also be a leak that will probably be felt more among the company’s oldest fans. According to the latest rumors, in fact, the Xiaomi developer team would have decided to remove the iconic Mi Bunny image from the MIUI Fastboot screen.

Since Xiaomi started selling smartphones, this manufacturer has been popular among the community passionate about modding, as it has always allowed the unlocking of the bootloader of its devices, releasing the kernel sources and supporting those who love to “play” with their phone.

Users accustomed to installing custom ROMs should be familiar with the quick start screen on Xiaomi devices, which for years has been characterized by the image of a rabbit repairing an Android with the word FASTBOOT in blue. Well, with the latest version of the MIUI Weekly Beta this image has been removed: with the 21.11.16 Beta release, in fact, it has been replaced by a simpler screen, in which there is only the writing FASTBOOT in yellow. At this point it remains to be understood whether this change will also be implemented in a stable version of MIUI 13.
