Almost two months after the arrival of Android 12 on the AOSP channel, Google and Samsung are the only companies that have smartphones with the latest mobile operating system of the Mountain View giant. Xiaomi is the other big OEM that is preparing to release the update to MIUI 13, whose arrival could now be around the corner.

In these hours, in fact, the news is bouncing on the net that the Chinese giant is already testing the MIUI 13 on Xiaomi 12, obviously in the form of an internal beta. According to some, moreover, the Xiaomi 12 series should arrive on the market with the MIUI 12.5 (based on Android 11) to receive the MIUI 13 (based on Android 12) only later, as the first major software update.

In this regard, Xiaomi 12X (codenamed psyche), a variant that will find its place within the full-bodied Xiaomi 12 series, turned out to mount the MIUI 13.0.0.56.RLDCNXM version. From the first information published on the net it seems that the firmware is now quite stable and close to its final form, while the development team would also be testing the following builds of the MIUI 13 on different devices:
