The last relevant update released by the Win Recovery Project Team dates back to January with the debut of TWRP 3.5. The new version 3.6.0 of TWRP introduces support for smartphones launched with Android 11, many improvements in decryption, new features, a lot of new supported devices, and a major change in the way TWRP is installed.

TWRP is now fully compatible with devices with Android 11 pre-installed and as an important part of the code base has already been rewritten from scratch, the maintainers are hoping to see a much faster release process for Android 12.
