According to the latest report, Apple device collector Giulio Zompetti shared two prototype photos of Apple AirPods headsets on Twitter. The first generation of this headset was first released in 2016, defining the shape of a true wireless Bluetooth headset.
As can be seen from the picture, the earphone shell is divided into two parts, and the transparent resin shell is used on the outside, so that the internal battery, circuit board, microphone, antenna and other structures can be clearly seen. The inside of the earphone is white, with a sensor and a soundhole.
This transparent shell AirPods headset has never been officially released, and the source of the whistleblower’s product is currently unknown. This headset is expected to be used for internal testing only, and the structure of the headset can be clearly seen, and there are even traces of glue.

The collector also exposed the Apple 29W charger with a transparent shell, and the internal PCBA, connecting wires, and shielded copper foil components can be clearly seen.
