Android 12 seems to give Google Pixels some connectivity problems

The update to Android 12 brought many new features to Google Pixel smartphones (and not only them), but also some problems. The latest reports concern some connectivity problems for the smartphones of the Mountain View house, including the latest arrivals Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

No signal for some Google Pixel with Android 12: how to (try to) fix

Although in the editorial office we have not encountered any problems whatsoever from this point of view with different models of Google Pixel, we cannot expect to “do statistics”. In fact, there are several reports on Reddit and on the official forum that talk about connectivity problems in recent days: in some cases, the smartphone signals a generic absence of signal (or even the absence of the SIM), in others, the signal seems to be there but it doesn’t actually offer 5G or LTE connectivity (complete with an exclamation point).

The question, as anticipated, does not seem to touch only Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, but also other models updated to Android 12 such as Pixel 4 and Pixel 4a. How to solve the problem then? In reality, there is no “official” solution, but we can recommend a couple of possible remedies: the first, which could only work temporarily, is the classic restart of the smartphone; the second is to disable the “Adaptive Connectivity” function within the settings, which may have something to do with the problem.

The issue could be resolved by updating some services by Google, which for the moment has not pronounced itself. Have you also encountered any connectivity problems with your Google Pixel smartphone in the last few days? Let us know yours in the usual box.
