OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 3 rolled out for OnePlus 9/Pro

The OnePlus 9 Pro is a legitimate flagship phone that is genuinely competitive with the best Android phones on the market — at least from a features and quality perspective. Yet in terms of market and mind share, it’s still destined to be a niche device for a small group of enthusiasts looking for a specific kind of elegance in their Android device.

Recently, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro device owners received the OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 2 software update. Now, OnePlus has officially released the OxygenOS 12 Open Beta 3. This build comes with version number LE2111_11_C.36. You can check the complete changelog which is mentioned below.

OnePlus is recommending that those running the preview phase for Android 12 backup devices before upgrading, which might seem a little overzealous but could be worthwhile for the sake of your data integrity. The OxygenOS Open Beta 3 OTA should be heading out right now, and if you want to try it for yourself, you’ll need to visit the original announcement post to get enrolled.

Note: As always, this OTA will be incremental. The OTA will reach a small percentage of Chinese users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days.
