Samsung has a 21.9% share of the smartphone market with ambitions in 2022

Citing a report by Korean media The Elec, Samsung is full of ambitions in the mobile phone market in 2022 and aims to occupy more than 21.9% of the global smartphone market. Samsung executives believe that the long-term epidemic may increase the sales of smartphones throughout 2022, and it hopes to get greater benefits from it.

According to Samsung’s estimates, the global smartphone shipments are expected in 2022 will reach 1.52 billion, while Samsung estimated up to 390 million, reaching 21.9% of the market share. The total shipment volume of the Galaxy S22 series is estimated to be 33 million, of which 14 million are S22, 8 million are S22+, and 11 million are Galaxy S22 Ultra.

The main support for Samsung’s shipments is the Galaxy A series. A23 and A33 should make up for 267 million sales, while A53 and A73 need about 92 million.
