In particular, the WhatsApp team has started the release of the feature that allows you to create different combinations of skin tones for a couple of smileys.

This is a feature discovered at the end of October, when it was still under development and, apparently, the work has finished and has been made available to a small group of beta testers.

In practice, when selecting a couple of emoji, users have the possibility to choose between different combinations regarding the skin tone of its characters. At present this new feature has been made available to a limited circle of selected testers (with version 2.21.24.11 beta) but probably in the next few weeks, it should be extended to all beta users.
