The creator of Apex Legends announced his resignation

Today, Apex Legends creator and game director Chad Grenier announced that he is leaving Respawn, the studio he helped found in 2010. Steve Ferreira will take his place. He will join the Apex Legends team in 2019 and assume the leadership position.

This is an exciting day for me. Over the years, I have made many great games with the best people in the industry, and now I want to say goodbye to this studio that I love and helped found 11 years ago. In Grenier’s email, he thanked Vince Zampella, the founder of Respawn, and the other members of the team, and said that he felt like a child leaving the lair.
