GTA Trilogy now kills players for no reason

Despite the many patches released, GTA Trilogy continues to be plagued by bugs. Most of the errors (including the infamous rain) have been fixed, and glitches and bugs that are very funny, but also downright annoying, continue to spread on Reddit. Like the latter, which begins killing players for no apparent reason.

As shown in the video that you find a little further down, in fact, during a car race in GTA Vice City, the player finds the Game Over screen that corresponds to death. The problem occurs when in the race present in GTA Trilogy you hit one of the stages present. The Wasted screen appears full screen, leading to Game Over and the subsequent mission failure.

A funny bug, perhaps for those looking at it from the outside, but for those who find themselves having to face the mission over and over again it could be annoying. On the other hand, repeating the races several times is definitely boring, especially considering the game design behind these missions.

This GTA Trilogy bug is particularly strange and annoying, especially since the health bar quickly drops to zero. And it is also difficult to understand what is activating it, considering that it is a parameter that technically should not exist within a simple race.

According to one user, however, the answer may be simpler than expected: the game thinks that chiuqnue crossing the marks is actually underwater. In Vice City, it is in fact impossible to swim and dive into the ocean leads to instant death. A bug that we hope can be fixed as soon as possible by Grove Street Games.

GTA Trilogy is available from November 11, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC. The mobile version will arrive only in the course of 2022, for iOS and Android. Finally, the physical versions are scheduled for December 17, 2021.
