Legend has it that several derivative versions of the Realme 9 series are being developed, including Realme 9 Pro/9 Pro+/Pro Max, and a Realme 9i. Now, @ThePixel.vn has disclosed key details about the latter. It is said that the new Realme 9i uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 50MP rear main camera, and an LCD screen with FHD+ resolution @ 90Hz high refresh rate. If all goes well, the aircraft is expected to be officially unveiled in the first half of 2022.
ThePixel.vn pointed out that Realme 9i is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset based on a 6nm process. This is a new SoC that came out at the same time as the Snapdragon 480+/778G+/695, and the Realme 9i will also only have 4G mobile networks.
In addition to the 90Hz @ FHD+ resolution LCD screen (called 6.5 inches previously reported), the rendering also reveals the appearance design similar to the Realme GT Neo2 flagship smartphone.

In terms of storage, Realme 9i provides a combination of up to 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, a built-in 5000 mAh battery that supports fast charging, and is pre-installed with Realme UI software customized based on Android 11.
As for whether the machine will adopt a 50/64MP main camera, it is still to be officially announced. It is speculated that the Realme 9i will also have 8MP sub-camera + 2MP sensor, supplemented by a 32MP front selfie camera, and it is expected that the price in the Indian market will be less than 15,000 rupees.
