Check here the first look of Realme 9i

The new Realme 9i, which is said to be unveiled in early 2022, has been exposed by OnLeaks and 91Mobiles in the first batch of renders. Earlier news broke that Realme will launch a total of 4 9 Series new machines, and Realme 9i is the most entry-level one. In addition, the newly leaked renderings show that it uses a unique rear three-camera module, side fingerprints, and a perforated screen forward design.

In view of the fact that this machine does not use the under-screen fingerprint solution, we speculate that Realme 9i is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen, supplemented by 1080p+ resolution and a 90Hz high refresh rate. In terms of processors, it is reported that Realme 9i uses the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset (based on 6nm support and supports 4G LTE mobile network format).

If the news is reliable, this means that the entry-level Realme 9 series new products will not be connected to the 5G network. In terms of software, Realme 9i should be pre-installed with Realme UI software customized based on Android 11. It is worth mentioning that the bottom close-up shows that the Realme 9i retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, next to the microphone, USB-C charging/data port, and speaker grille.

In addition, the Realme 9i is expected to continue to use a large 5000 mAh battery, but it is still unclear what the highest charging power it supports. In terms of photography, it is said that the main rear camera is a 50MP sensor, but the role of the other two lenses has not been confirmed yet.

If all goes well, Realme 9i will be launched along with Realme 9/9 Pro/9 Pro+ (or Pro Max) in the first three months of 2022. Finally, it is rumored that the Realme 9 Pro/9 Pro+ models are equipped with a more high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset + 120Hz OLED high refresh screen.
