Tesla was sued for inappropriate behavior by female employees twice in a month

Tesla was sued by a female employee for sexual harassment, less than a month has passed since the last similar lawsuit. Both lawsuits allege that the working environment at Tesla’s US factory is unfriendly to women. On Wednesday, local time, Tesla assembly line worker Erica Cloud filed a lawsuit in California’s Alamda County Superior Court, accusing the defendant, including her former manager, of continuous and widespread sexual harassment.

She said that the manager hugged her and massaged her, and said some rude and sexually suggestive things. She complained to Tesla’s human resources team about these misconducts, and now she has been retaliated against by other managers.

The lawsuit alleges that Tesla and the other defendants failed to prevent sexual harassment and retaliation, and did not take corrective measures. Tesla has not yet commented.
