Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds Pro earlier this year, and they are undoubtedly one of the best Samsung earbuds we have seen so far. It goes without saying that the company will eventually launch follow-up products to these earplugs.
A few weeks ago, a so-called product roadmap was leaked on the Internet. It highlights the possible launch timeline of the successor to the Galaxy Buds Pro, and we now have some information about the charging case for the upcoming earbuds.
Due to the leak of Samsung’s 2022 product roadmap earlier, it is expected that it will release a new generation of Galaxy Buds Pro 2 in the near future. Now some details of the device’s specifications have been exposed: Galaxy Club found that this true wireless earbud’s charging case will be used a BR510ABY battery.
Samsung used a pill-shaped charging case design for its earliest earplugs (such as the Galaxy Buds and Buds+). The company switched to a different design on the Galaxy Buds Live. It retains the same design in subsequent Buds Live, Buds Pro and Buds 2 models.
The battery has a capacity of 500 mAh, which is a significant improvement over the 472 mAh of the original Galaxy Buds Pro, which shows that we can see a new generation of battery life improved.
Since the new Buds Pro 2 is expected to ship between the second and fourth quarters of 2022, the company still has enough time to prepare its products. We can expect that Samsung will also use the same charging case for the Galaxy Buds Live 2.
