Asus launches GeForce RTX 2060 12GB DUAL graphics card

Earlier this month, NVIDIA launched the GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB public version design, which is a new SKU based on the Turing graphics architecture. Its video memory has more than doubled than the original RTX 2060. The new SKU has 2176 CUDA cores, compared to 1920. NVIDIA hopes to benchmark Radeon RX 6600 after listing. Recently, Asustek also launched GeForce RTX 2060 12 GB, with two models in the DUAL series.

ASUS RTX 2060 EVO DUAL and DUAL OC graphics cards use the company’s latest iteration of the DUAL cooling solution, which is characterized by the aluminum heat sink and the heat pipe directly contacting the “TU106” GPU at the bottom, and the latest generation of Axial-Tech fans are used for heat dissipation. DUAL OC SKU runs the GPU at a boosted speed of 1680 MHz, while DUAL sticks to the 1650 MHz boost clock speed referenced by NVIDIA. The software-based OC mode can release a higher clock frequency on both SKUs.

For DUAL OC, this means 1710 MHz, and for DUAL (standard), this means 1680 MHz. Both cards rely on an 8-pin PCIe power connector. Display output includes a DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.0, and a dual-link DVI-D. The price of the card is expected to be around 550 euros.
