According to the latest report, AT&T has redesigned the classic Snake game in a new and interactive way in an effort to promote its 5G network functions. It is called Warp Speed Worm and is an AR filter that can be used in Instagram and Facebook Messenger video calls.
The snake was the game of choice on early Nokia phones. And AT&T’s latest contribution to this classic game is an AR filter, in which the nominal worm is controlled by the user’s head movement. Users can play with friends, AT&T expects users to do this when they use the 5G network, or users use the camera in the Instagram application to play by themselves.
AT&T said that when users use the company’s 5G network, they will power users’ competition with faster speeds and shorter delays, thereby providing a seamless gaming experience. Users can tilt their heads to the left or right to guide the worm and get the mini-game controller icon. The more the worm eats, the longer its body becomes. When the worm inevitably hits his body with his head, the game will end.
