Real product advertisements in the world of video games are nothing new, and these advertisements seem to be gradually entering DICE’s new work Battlefield 2042. Recently, some players have discovered that the advertising space in the player card of Battlefield 2042 has been activated.
Some players posted on the forum pointed out that they saw an advertisement for Logitech G502 mouse on the player’s card during the game. Interestingly, this ad is seen by PS5 console players who do not need to use a mouse.
Some players may think this is EA’s new means of making money, but it is not the case. In the previous works of the Battlefield series, we can often see advertisements for real products, including CPU products, and even advertisements for IAm Legend movies.
