There have been reports from North American users that the ROG Maximus Z690 Hero motherboard has burnt out some circuits. The reason is that next to the memory slot in the upper right corner, the tantalum capacitor near the Debug light is welded upside down, which will cause the capacitor to explode after power on. Asustek will recall the motherboards with problems.
