But I am currently struggling with both current Pixel 6 models because I am also affected by some of the numerous bugs. Although Google delivered an update with over 80 bug fixes in December.
Many bugs fixed, but many bugs still remain
In any case, you just notice that Google is installing its own processor for the first time and that an extremely big change has happened with Android 12. I don’t exactly feel like a guinea pig, but with prices well over 600 euros you can of course expect functional devices. For some users, this is currently only the case to a limited extent.
My Pixel 6 Pro no longer connects to Bluetooth headphones without any problems. In addition, after a few days, the gesture with which you can wake up the display no longer works. I also often see a white screen and have to repeatedly put the smartphone on standby and wake it up again. Interim solution: device restart.
The Pixel 6 has permanent reception again with newer carrier services , but probably not at a normal level. That puts a strain on the battery. In addition, it often only opens the camera with a strong stutter for several seconds.
Google continues to have communication issues
What makes the whole topic really annoying for users is the lack of quality of communication. Will the December update continue to be rolled out on a large scale or will it not? What about the mistakes that so many people report? Unfortunately, the group is reluctant to comment on this. It’s frustrating. One day before the article there was finally a message.
