599 dollars or 649 euros was the very low entry level for the new Pixel 6 smartphones. But the current Google cell phones are also selling very well with cell phone providers. There are first figures for this.
Our media has probably never talked about a Pixel smartphone as much as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Not all positively, but the devices are making waves that a Google device hadn’t been able to do for a long time. As a new report from Wave7 from the USA is supposed to show, the interest in the current Google hardware is very high.
Google Pixel 6 are likely to achieve solid sales
3 to 5 percent of current provider sales can currently be credited to the Pixel 6 models. That might not be a huge number, but it supposedly puts Google in third place behind Samsung and Apple. Before the two new Google phones, the Pixel smartphones were only responsible for a maximum of 2 percent of sales via providers.
Pixel 6a could make the next jump possible
Google is not going to get sales now like Xiaomi, Samsung and Apple. But you’ve probably done a lot right with the Pixel 6 series. A new driver could be the Pixel 6a in spring 2022, which should be similar to the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, but of course, costs a whole lot less. Hopefully, unlike the Pixel 5a, it will come to us again.
