According to the agency, Samsung expects its full-year sales in 2021 to reach 833.1 billion U.S. dollars, achieving a staggering year-on-year increase of 34%. The second-ranked Intel will lag behind Samsung by $7.5 billion in revenue. The reason for Samsung’s amazing growth is that the memory market growth in 2021 is very strong.

The report also said that in 2021, there were 17 semiconductor companies in the world with sales exceeding 10 billion U.S. dollars. In addition to Samsung and Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia, Broadcom, Apple, MediaTek and AMD are among them.
