In October 2021, CDPR postponed the update of Cyberpunk 2077 and free DLC until 2022. After that, CDPR did not share more content, and a recent rumor of the Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 Version Spread on the Internet.
This rumor came from the 4chan forum and then spread to other websites such as Reddit. According to rumors, the next generation of Cyberpunk 2077 and the 1.5 version patch will be regarded as a restart of the game.
The game is named Cyberpunk 2077: Samurai Edition; CDPR is scheduled to be announced in February this year; this version will include Free DLC, game content adjustments (for example Judy and Panan will send more information to the protagonist in the game), and a large number of new features-barber shop, garage, AI improvements, transmogrification, loot balance and new UI interface.
In addition, this rumor also claims that the first major expansion of Cyberpunk 2077 occurred in Taipingzhou, in an area called Combat Zone. Two new gangs are competing for the area: one is a violent clown gang called Bozos, and the other is a gang called Slaughterhouse composed of violent mental patients.
Other details leaked include a Cyberpunk 2077 mini-game, details of the Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners animation, and another expansion that is in the planning stage. The source of this rumor is very suspicious. The 4chan forum is mixed and credible.
And now CDPR’s global public relations director Radek Grabowski told Forbes that this leak, or in his words, was unreasonable. Grabowski did not go on, which means that he did not explain which parts were unreasonable, and whether the whole thing was untrue, or which details about the leak were wrong.
Except for Radek Grabowski’s response, CDPR has not officially announced the new news of the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, fans still need to wait for a while.
