Samsung has recently unveiled its Galaxy S21 series with great capabilities. Now, the rumors of the upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S22 devices are surrounding the internet.

Popular leaker Ice Universe has shared Geekbench listing information about Galaxy S22 ultra. It seems that the base Galaxy S22 Ultra variant will have only 8GB of RAM. However, better-specced variants could up that to 12GB and 16GB. The latter could be paired with 1TB of storage.

SamMobile has published articles regarding both the Exynos 2200 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Galaxy S22 models on Geekbench bearing model numbers SM-S908B and SM-S908U, respectively. The former is a carrier-unlocked variant intended for the United States and the latter is the international variant.

The Exynos 2200 toting Galaxy S22 Ultra nets a measly single-core score of 1,014; significantly lesser than the Snapdragon Gen 1’s 1,226. Things are better off on the multi-core front, with the former scoring 3,415 and the latter 3,462. Both variants are running Android 12 out of the box and feature 8GB of system memory.

A Galaxy S22 Ultra with 8GB of RAM could disappoint fans and enthusiasts, mainly because the last-generation Galaxy S21 Ultra had 12GB of RAM across all variants.
