  • Windows 10 version 1809 for ARM64-based systems
  • Windows 10 version 1809 for x86-based systems

As Microsoft pointed out, this patch fixes a problem with Remote Desktop, that is, users will not be able to log in to the server or experience slow performance. The details of this quality update are described as follows:

Resolved a known issue that may prevent you from using Remote Desktop to access the server. In some cases, the server may stop responding. The screen may also appear black, and general performance and login may be slow. This update works in conjunction with the Windows Service Stack Update (SSU), so before you proceed to install it, be sure to review the known issues here.

Customers with affected configurations must install the SSU (KB5005112) on August 10, 2021, before installing the latest cumulative update (LCU). This update cannot be obtained through Windows Update, Windows Update for Business, or Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), and can only be installed through a separate software package on the Microsoft Update Catalog.
