As per the information, Samsung has started releasing the Android 12 update to the Exynos variant of the Galaxy S20 FE (SM-G780F) in Russia on the build number G780FXXS8DUL6.

Samsung has recently updated its Galaxy S20 FE 5G with the latest Android 12 version, but the 4G variants of the phone were left out. Now, according to the information, Samsung has started releasing the update to the Snapdragon variant of the Galaxy S20 FE 4G.
For now, this latest update is rolling out in Malaysia, and more markets will get the update over the next few days. The Android 12 update for the Snapdragon 865 variant of the Galaxy S20 FE 4G (SM-G780G) comes with firmware version G780GXXU3BUL9.
This update also includes the December 2021 security patch. If you are a Galaxy S20 FE 4G (SM-G780G) user in Malaysia, you can check for the Android 12 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.

On the specifications front, the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G (Snapdragon 865) is identical to the older model except for a different chipset. The new model carries a Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. The chipset is different from the Exynos 990 that powers the original Samsung Galaxy S20 FE.
