According to the official introduction, the 8-inch touch LCD display supports a variety of new multitasking solutions, some of which are listed below:

  • App sub-tools can be displayed on the small screen to free up space on the main screen.
  • Add a chat window or notepad function to the small screen, and you can take notes during the online meeting.
  • It can be used as a drawing board to edit or refine images, and the integrated digital pen with ColorKing+ plug-in can achieve faster and more accurate color matching. Use the pen to capture the color from the screen, and immediately find the closest Pantone color based on the substrate.
  • The “Waterfall” function is very useful during document editing. The page can be expanded from the main display to the small screen.
  • “Magic Launcher” can place frequently used App icons on the small screen for quick access.
  • The calculator function makes spreadsheets or financial apps easier to use. For example, you can configure group startup to automatically open the calculator when you start the spreadsheet.
  • The phone screen can be projected into a small screen, improving multitasking and cross-device synergy.

The main screen of ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 supports 120Hz 3072×1440 resolution, up to 400nits brightness and 90% screen-to-body ratio, supports Dolby Vision, low blue light and TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification.

The small screen below has a resolution of 800×1280. The machine is also equipped with a power button with integrated fingerprint recognition, an FHD infrared camera with a physical privacy switch, and Harman/Kardon Dolby Atmos speakers, Wi-Fi 6E, backlit keyboard and glass touchpad. ThinkBook Plus Gen 3 will be available in May this year, starting at US$1399.
