Pokémon Arceus passes ESRB rating or will have paid DLC content

The new series Pokémon Legend: Arceus has now passed the US ESRB rating with an E (6+) level, and the game contains only mild fantasy violence. It is worth mentioning that there is such a sentence in the rating interface: In-Game Purchases, which means in-game purchases.

But this does not necessarily mean that there are in-game purchases in The Legend of Pokémon: Arceus, the previous game Pokémon: Sword/Shield also has this mark in the rating, but it does not have in-game purchases, which may imply that the game will launch paid DLC.

This is an adventure/role-playing game in which the player takes on the role of an explorer tasked with capturing and pacifying Pokémon. Players will explore an unfamiliar land, interact with characters, perform quests, and battle various Pokémon.

Most battles are turn-based, and players consume the opponent’s health through attack actions (eg: bite, attribute attack). Some of the battles take place in close-up shots where players try to quell the angry Pokémon by throwing balsam (a bag with a Pokémon’s favorite stuff) at them.
