WhatsApp: Voice messages should soon be able to be listened to continuously within the app

WhatsApp has distributed the new beta version 2.22.3.1 for Android. There is good news behind the scenes. However, the function has not yet been activated: It is about the ability to listen to voice messages consistently within the app.

It currently looks like this: If you listen to a voice message from Contact A in WhatsApp, but want to switch to chat with Contact B while listening, the voice message will be canceled. This also applies if you switch to other areas such as status. That is exactly what is supposed to change. You could then continue to listen to a voice message until the end when switching from the original chat to other areas of the app.

Should then loudly WABetaInfo look like in the screenshot above. A small playback field is displayed, which can also be used to pause the voice message. This function is currently still in development. So it is not yet activated. Incidentally, you also want to activate this function for Apple iOS.

I would personally find it very practical, because it has indeed often happened to me that I listened to a voice message, they wanted to check another chat and had to replay the message.
