WhatsApp, all ready for reactions

For some time now we have been talking about the introduction of reactions to messages on WhatsApp, a function (useful/funny, it is subjective) that Telegram has also recently introduced. The first information about it dates back to last summer, finding more and more confirmations in the following weeks for both iOS and Android.

And now it seems that the times are ripe, at least according to what was reported by WABetaInfo which found traces about it in the latest beta 22.2.72 for iOS, available via TestFlight. The novelty is visible in the WhatsApp Settings menu (also in the Business version): in fact, the possibility of enabling or disabling notifications to the reactions of messages sent, both in single and group chats, has been introduced. and to set any notification sound.

Warning: the reactions on the beta version for iOS are not yet available, to be changed is only the Settings menu in which this function now appears. Enabling or disabling it, in other words, does not currently involve any changes. What is certain is that this novelty leads us to think that reactions are now imminent. Also for Android.
