Age of Empires 4 releases new patch 10257, downloads starting tomorrow

Age of Empires 4 officially announced the game’s latest patch 10257, and the download time starts on January 20. This patch focuses on balance changes and bug fixes across civilizations, with the goal of addressing some of the most critical issues facing each civilization. For example, dealing with player feedback related to Mongol civilization and musketeers, and fixing several bugs in the Sultanate of Delhi.

Specific Contents

  • Expanded the acceptable percentage of players with the appropriate skills, the rate has increased by 67%.
  • Scouts move 35% slower while carrying animal carcasses.
  • Knight II-IV Ranged Armor +1 per level
  • Archer now has a slower attack speed and fire rate changed from 2.0 to 2.5
  • Mounted Archers no longer gain bonus attack speed and bonus damage from the Burning Arrow technique
  • Monk soldiers now move 25% slower while carrying relics

  • Charge weapon area effect damage now deals 50% damage to surrounding enemy units (instead of 100%)
  • Torch damage reduced from 51 to 36

  • Health increased from 160 to 180
  • Weapon damage reduced from 15 to 13
  • Charge weapon damage reduced from 25 to 23
