Some rumors even claimed that Samsung had completely eliminated the Exynos 2200 chipset and that all the exponents of the Galaxy S22 series would have adopted the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in every corner of the globe. A new rumor tries to dispel doubts by providing a list that reveals which chipset Samsung Galaxy S22 will be marketed in the various regions.

Samsung Galaxy S22 would adopt the Exynos 2200 platform across Europe

Whistleblower Dohyun Kim claims Samsung Galaxy S22 will adopt the Exynos 2200 platform across Europe, while for North and South America, East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Samsung has in Serbian Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.

West Africa and the Middle East will receive the smartphone with both chipsets, probably depending on the country. The list highlights how Samsung was forced to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on many of its Galaxy S22 units, as already speculated by some reports dating back to the beginning of last year.
