German-made Model Y shows up in Norway for winter testing, expected to be delivered in Europe in March

Sources say the German-made Model Y has a higher payload than the Chinese-made version. The German version has a payload of 562kg and the Chinese version is 390kg, a difference of 172kg, which means that the German version of the Model Y will have some obvious structural changes.

At present, more than 100 Model Y units have been trial-produced at the Berlin Gigafactory. Taking into account customer deliveries, the locally produced Tesla Model Y Performance is expected to be delivered to European consumers in March.
