For a few years, OnePlus has made its entry into the TV sector with the creation of a range of Smart TVs in constant evolution to complement its line of smartphones which recently recorded the debut of the new OnePlus 10 Pro. For the moment, OnePlus has focused on the Indian market with regards to its Smart TV offering but there has been talking of a possible European debut for OnePlus TVs for some time.
Pending more details on the matter, OnePlus continues to expand its TV offering and the next model coming is the interesting OnePlus TV Y1S. It is an entry-level model potentially able to carve out a significant space on the market thanks to an excellent quality/price ratio. This new OnePlus TV is the protagonist of a first leak today.
OnePlus TV Y1S: First image for the new TV
The first images of the new OnePlus TV Y1S were released today by the insider Ishan Agarwal, who has long been very close to the OnePlus world. The shots confirm what the design of the new OnePlus Smart TV will be, which will be able to count on a base consisting of two pedestals placed at the lower ends of the panel. Note that the TV will feature a striking lower bezel that will also house the OnePlus logo.
The technical specifications of the new OnePlus TV Y1S range have recently been anticipated by some leaks, also signed by Agarwal. The new OnePlus Smart TV family will consist of two models, one 32-inch and one 43-inch. The smart platform will be Android TV 11.0 and HDR 10+ E Dolby Audio support will be present. The two TVs will have 20 W speakers and will support Dual-Band Wi-Fi connectivity, completing a major upgrade over previous models, limited to 2.4 GHz support.

It should be noted that the two new OnePlus TVs will arrive on the market positioning themselves in the price range around the equivalent of 300 euros, at the current exchange rate. The quality/price ratio could represent an important strength for the company’s new TVs. The OnePlus TV Y1S series is to be kept an eye on very carefully also in view of a possible European debut of the OnePlus TV range.
Particularly compact and economical models could be the right solution for OnePlus to carve out its space within the European market, starting from the bottom and then expanding, exactly as happened with smartphones, gradually with new products. The launch of the new OnePlus TV Y1S on the Indian market is expected for the end of the first quarter of the current year.
