According to the well-known tipster Dylandkt, Apple will launch another M1 series of Apple Silicon chips on the upcoming iMac Pro. At present, Apple has launched 3 self-developed chips, M1 Pro and M1 Max after the original M1. If this rumor is to be believed, then this is the fourth M1 chip that Apple has introduced.
In a tweet, he wrote: Confirmed that the upcoming iMac Pro will have an extra configuration beyond the M1 Max. The tweet goes on to say that a 12-core CPU configuration is mentioned in a code snippet that also mentions the iMac.
I have received confirmation that there will be an additional configuration for the upcoming iMac Pro beyond M1 Max. A 12 Core CPU configuration was tied to a snippet of code referencing the iMac. The internal naming candidate is iMac Pro for a reason. It is targeted towards pros

The M1 uses an 8-core CPU with a 7-core or 8-core onboard GPU. The upgraded M1 Pro uses an 8-core or 10-core CPU, while the top-end M1 Max uses a 10-core CPU, but the Max does differentiate itself with a higher level of memory support and more GPU cores than the Pro.
There’s no suggestion how the cores in the new chip will be configured, but given that a 10-core CPU combines a pair of efficient cores with eight high-performance cores, it’s reasonable that the new chip could have 2-10 cores.
Dylandkt continued: “There’s a reason the internal naming candidate is iMac Pro . It’s for professionals”. That seems likely, as reports in December floated the idea that an iMac Pro with a 27-inch mini LED ProMotion display could launch in the spring.
