Although the brand is busy with all the preparations for the upcoming K50 series, rumors are also beginning to be made about how the next Redmi Note 12 series is structured. In fact, from a leak we learn that it could mark the debut, at the hardware level, of a new Snapdragon solution, following in the wake of the higher models.
Talking about this possibility was Digital Chat Station, which in addition to the now certain K50s with four hardware solutions divided between Snapdragon and Dimensity, also unbalanced on the next Redmi Note 12 series. The news is based on the fact that the possible Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset (name not confirmed), being postponed with respect to the roadmap for example MediaTek’s Dimensity 8000, could debut right in the release period of the new Note range.
This would mean that, after two series in which Redmi has adopted a MediaTek chipset, it could return to using Qualcomm solutions, as indeed should also happen for the Global versions of Redmi Note 11. Unfortunately, not much is known about the new mid-range SoC. , but we imagine it could be a solution with a production process at 5 nm and not 6 like the 778G / 778G + and many other situations that bring it closer to the top of the range.
