Model Y RWD adheres to Tesla’s consistent And continuous product improvement concept, compared with the Model Y SR model, the Model Y RWD has obvious improvements and improvements in the following aspects:
- The car chip is updated to AMD brand;
- The updated rear side windows are double-glazed, with better sound insulation effect;
- The on-board starter battery (low voltage battery) is updated to lithium battery, and the battery life is longer;
- The acceleration of the vehicle from 100 km/h is updated from 5.6 seconds to 6.9 seconds (non-upgrade)
At the same time, the other party stated that the vehicle value of the Model Y RWD has increased by more than 20,000 yuan compared with the Model Y SR, but the price of the ordered vehicle remains unchanged.
It is reported that users who have reserved the Model Y standard battery life rear-wheel-drive version but have not delivered the car can choose to change the original price to the Model Y rear-wheel-drive version or have Tesla refund the deposit. The same as the entry-level model of Model Y, the price of the rear-wheel-drive version has increased by more than 20,000 yuan compared with the standard battery life rear-drive version.
In addition to the above upgrades, the cruising range has been increased to 545km due to the replacement of the cruising range algorithm from the original NEDC to CTLC.
