US version of Galaxy S22 series price leaked, both increased by $100

According to information shared by reliable tipster Roland Quandt a few days ago, the price of the Galaxy S22 series in the European market is basically flat. However, according to information obtained by TechInsider and chunvn8888, the US version of the Galaxy S22 series has generally increased by $100.

Technology media GSMArena compiled the following table to compare the prices of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22. It’s worth noting here that the Galaxy S22 Ultra may start with 8GB of RAM, not 12GB like the S21 Ultra. Considering the high price, Samsung may keep the 12GB starting configuration on the US version of the S22 Ultra.

It’s unclear what pre-order deals and trade-in deals Samsung will offer this year, but Samsung should have something in place to make up for the extra $100 on all three models. For the S21 series, Samsung is offering up to $200 in credit and a free Galaxy SmartTag in the US (and Galaxy Buds Live + SmartTag in Europe).

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked appears to be set for February 9 (Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed this date). Besides phones, it will also bring the new Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets. Euro pricing for these products has also been leaked. In the US, the base Tab S8 is expected to start below $850, the Tab S8+ is $900-$1,000, and the flagship Tab S8 Ultra is $1,100 or more.
