The Galaxy Unpacked 2022 is inexorably approaching – yesterday we also showed you the official trailer – and now not a day goes by without some new succulent anticipation on the Samsung Galaxy S22 series: today we are talking about the One UI 4.1, which will debut on the new flagships of the Korean house.

One UI 4.1 starting with the Samsung Galaxy S22

Samsung continues to do an excellent job in terms of software updates and in recent days there has been talking of the development and release of the One UI 4.1 for the current top of the range Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Following should touch the Galaxy Note 20 lineup, the Galaxy S20 series and obviously not even the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G will be left behind. For mid-range models, the wait will likely be longer, but as usual well rewarded.

Of course, however, it will not be last year’s model that will bring the new update to its debut – which also promises to be less full of news than the major update to Android 12 and One UI 4.0, although making predictions is currently rather risky -, but those now close to launching.

Regarding the timing of the release, it is highly likely that the manufacturer will do everything possible to prepare the One UI 4.1 in time for the debut of the Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 + and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

If this does not happen – on the other hand, Samsung is working hard in recent weeks to update a substantial part of its present and past line-up to Android 12 -, the release could be postponed to the second half of 2022, with a roadmap simply moved forward a few months (first the Galaxy S22, then the Galaxy S21, etc.) and, probably, some more news to make users happy.

The hope, however, is that the development ends in time to see some new features on the Samsung Galaxy S22 already out of the box.
