The Google team is constantly engaged in improving the various services offered and among those for which news has emerged in the past few hours are YouTube Music, Google Translate and Google News.
Small change to the interface for YouTube Music for Android
In the past few hours, the YouTube Music development team has begun to implement the new user interface of the “Add to playlist” section in mobile applications, already adopted on the Web version of the service.
According to what has been learned thanks to the first users who viewed this new UI, YouTube Music uses a carousel for the “Recent” section and shows the covers of the playlists, as well as the number of songs included. There are, however, some bugs.
There is currently no information on when it could be implemented for everyone.
Google Translate brings Material You to all devices
Reports from non-Pixel users are multiplying on the Net for which the new design based on Google Translate’s Material You is available, until now exclusive to the Google Pixel 6 series smartphones.
The redesign is based on the design language of Android 12 and takes advantage of the entire display of the phone, with large rounded buttons for each function. According to what has been learned, version 6.28 of Google Translate is required to view the new interface, which can be downloaded from APK Mirror.
Google News tests some interface changes
The Mountain View giant in recent months has redesigned most of its applications, introducing the Material You design but Google News is not yet among these apps.
Well, while waiting to implement the Material You theme in Google News, its team of developers is testing some graphic changes inspired by it with a small circle of users.
