Pokémon collaborates again, Daniel Arsham space-time theme art works will be exhibited in Japan in February

The recently released Pokémon Legends: Arceus revealed the ancient history of the Pokémon world, while the recently announced art exhibition in collaboration with artist Daniel Arsham will tell the story of a ruined and fossilized future.

In the official trailer, Ash and Pikachu’s attack during a battle accidentally bumps into a bystander Celebi, and the resulting explosion sends Ash teleported into an apocalyptic future full of bizarre art.

Arsham’s upcoming A Ripple in Time exhibit in Tokyo builds on two of his previous larger Pokémon-themed exhibits, Relics Through Time in Kanto and Time Dilation, and will feature A variety of Pokémon works are on display, with the theme of the passage of time.

In addition to paintings, sketches, and Arsham’s iconic Pokémon sculptures inspired by architectural and fictional archeological concepts, Ripple in Time will feature a collection of art by Arsham and Pokémon Animation’s former chief and current creative director Animation Work co-produced by Kunihiko Tangshan.

According to the official announcement, the Animation Works project was completed at the strong request of Arsham himself. Together with Kunihiko Yuyama, he drew all elements from the storyboard to the finished product.
