OPPO Find X5 Pro HD concept renders revealed

LetsGoDigital has learned that OPPO is developing the Find X5 Pro, a new flagship phone, which is expected to be equipped with a 2K LTPO 2.0 display, upgraded rear triple cameras, and faster-charging options. Referring to the release date of the previous generation of Find X3 series models, the Find X5 series may arrive in late February 2022.

The Find X5 Pro will improve on several fronts compared to the 2021 model. Combining many earlier leaks and revelations (real photos/updated camera designs), graphic designer Parvez Khan (aka Technizo Concept) has shared a set of newly produced high-definition renderings.

As OPPO’s first smartphone equipped with the new NPU in 2022, the words “Powered by Mari Silicon” can be seen on the camera system of the Find X5 Pro.

As early as December last year, OPPO had announced that this 6nm image NPU would be used in the next-generation Find series, which is speculated to bring lossless RAW processing support and the ability to capture 4K AI night scene video in real-time preview.

Interestingly, as cooperation after the return of the OnePlus, the Find X5 Pro is also expected to usher in an imaging technology cooperation with Hasselblad. We are not surprised by such resource-sharing operations.

After all, the OnePlus 10 Pro released earlier uses OPPO’s 80W SuperVOOC (wired flash charging) + 50W AirVOOC (wireless flash charging) solution, and OxygenOS 12 also incorporates more ColorOS elements at the software UI level.

As the first smartphone under the OPPO brand to carry the Hasselblad logo, the latter will be responsible for special color optimizations and an updated RAW+ professional shooting mode for the Find X5 Pro.

In terms of sensors, CoolAPK recently disclosed that the machine uses a 32MP @ Sony IMX709 front camera, and the main camera in the rear three cameras is a 50MP @ Sony IMX766 image sensor that supports optical image stabilization.

The second rear camera is a 32MP @Sony IMX709 ultra-wide-angle lens, which we have seen on the OPPO Reno7 Pro released in December 2021 (same as the front camera). The third rear camera is a 13MP @Samsung S5K3M5 sensor, but the 60X microscope lens on the Find X3 Pro has not been extended this year.

In terms of processors, it is said that the Find X5 model will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, while the Find X5 Pro will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. In terms of storage, OPPO only provides the option of 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM for the Find X3 Pro, but it is expected to add a 512GB version to the Find X5 Pro this year.

In addition, OPPO may use a 6.78-inch @ 2K resolution AM OLED screen for the Find X5 Pro (refer to the adaptive 120Hz high refresh rate / LTPO 2.0 on the OnePlus 10 Pro).

In the upper left corner is an Infinity-O front camera opening that supports off-screen fingerprints. The left side is volume ± adjustment, the right side is the physical power button, the bottom is the microphone/speaker grille, USB charging/data port, double-sided SIM card slot, and the top has a secondary microphone.
