In the past two years, new pixel hardware has only been available in the second half of the year. That should change again. May could be a strong month for all Google fans who love to buy Pixel devices.
Google regularly held its own developer conference called I/O around the middle of the year (May/June). This is probably also the case this year, although there is no official date yet. Also in the middle of the year, there should be new pixel hardware again this time. As was the case with the Pixel 3a. The successors 4a and 5a had to be postponed due to problems caused by the pandemic.
Google wants to show new Pixel hardware again before the summer
Although we don’t exactly have the feeling of normality in Germany, it is returning in many areas and other countries. Insiders reported a few weeks ago that this should also apply to Google.
If everything goes as planned, new Pixel hardware from Google will be available in May and therefore in the first half of the year. It would also be good for the pixel brand to not only be in the spotlight once a year.
Pixel Watch can finally come true
For years, the industry has been saying that Google should develop its own Wear OS watch, or at least consider it. And this wish of the fans should now really come true – the Pixel Watch is coming.
There were as many leaks in the last year as before, although not all of them seemed trustworthy. But it was also confirmed directly by Google software that the group is working on its own smartwatch.
Pixel 6a: mid-range totally revised
And it’s not just the Pixel Watch coming in May , if insiders are to be believed. Another good source not much later claimed the mid-range Pixel 6a would be coming that same month. Which of course suggests that the devices will be unveiled together.
That would be a true mid-year firework display if the Pixel Notepad were also confirmed. In any case, we can’t wait for the next three months to be over.
