OnePlus prepares the arrival of the new OnePlus Nord CE 2. The smartphone is getting closer and closer to its official debut and begins to show itself online with a new benchmark and some certifications that anticipate the technical specifications of the project.
The new OnePlus smartphone could be unveiled very soon and will also be joined by the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite going to renew and expand the OnePlus Nord range. Let’s see the latest updates on the project.
OnePlus Nord CE 2: Here are all the known technical specifications
The new OnePlus Nord CE 2 has been spotted on Geekbench, with the model number IV2201. The benchmark confirms the presence of the MT6877V/ZA SoC.
This is the MediaTek Dimensity 900 which will be the reference point of the technical data sheet of the new smartphone. The SoC will be flanked by 8 GB of RAM (although a variant of 6 GB of RAM could arrive anyway) and will be able to count on the Android 11 operating system, suitably customized with OxygenOS 12.
The TUV certification enriches the information available to us on the technical datasheet of the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 . In view of the launch, in fact, this certification anticipates that the smartphone will be able to count on a 4,500 mAh battery. The capacity that is certainly not very high by current standards will be compensated by the support for fast charging from 65 W which will allow you to minimize the time for a full charge.
Directly from the Camera FV5 website, however, the first details on the photographic sector of the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 arrive. The smartphone will be able to count on a 64 Megapixel main sensor (opening f / 1.7 and focal length 26.2 mm) which will return to the user 16 Megapixel images made with pixel-binning. As confirmed by previous rumors, the smartphone should feature a triple rear camera.
The primary sensor should be an OmniVision although the exact model is not known. The other two sensors should be an ultra-wide angle and a macro sensor. The front room will instead be 16 Megapixel with f / 2.4 aperture and support for electronic stabilization. The rest of the technical data sheet of the new OnePlus Nord CE 2 has already been anticipated by some rumors.
In addition to the aforementioned SoC Dimensity 900, in fact, the smartphone will offer users a 6.4-inch diagonal AMOLED display. The panel will have Full HD resolution and will be able to count on a 90 Hz refresh rate. There is also a hole for the front camera positioned in the upper left corner. Among the specifications, there will also be a fingerprint sensor under the display.
There is also the Lite version
The new OnePlus Nord CE 2 will also be available in a Lite version. The rumors of these weeks anticipate two similar smartphones but with some substantial differences. The future OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, in fact, will be able to count on a 6.59-inch display with an LCD panel and Full HD resolution. Furthermore, to manage the operation of the smartphone, we will find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC while the battery will be a 5,000 mAh unit.
There will be no support for fast charging from 65 W. The smartphone should only support charging up to 33 W. The photographic sector will also include a triple camera but the main 64 Megapixel sensor will be supported by two 2 Megapixel sensors, one for macros and one for monochrome. The new smartphones of the OnePlus Nord range should debut together but may not both arrive in Europe. We will know more in the near future.
